5/28/2008 - UTI Foundation Secures Equipment Donation for UTI-Houston - As many of you learned during the employee contribution campaign last year, the UTI Foundation is a 501(c)3 Arizona non-profit umbrella organization that covers all UTI not-for-profit initiatives and is dedicated to raising funds to further its mission and strategic goals. While the UTI Foundation has been busy, enabling individuals to complete technical training leading to career success by offering scholarships, they have also been working on other exciting opportunities. 5/20/2008 - Universal Technical Institute Launches UTI Foundation - UTI announced in a recent press release that the UTI Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has been established. As the independent philanthropic arm of UTI, the efforts of the Foundation enable eligible students to pursue technical training leading to in-demand careers in the automotive, collision repair, diesel, marine, motorcycle and NASCAR industries through scholarships, grants and other programs. Under the direction of its board of directors, the new non-profit has already awarded nearly $250,000 this year in scholarships and grants. Read More
